Preview + Form

A tough matchup, but one has to back City given the return to winning ways and being at a better spot than they were and a trophy already in tow.

For Everton, a tough loss and emotional drain could put this one in peril early, how will they respond? The points deduction seems to be a bad memory now, so how will they play here?

The key battle will be the forwards chosen vs a less than stellar defense on the other side. An interesting matchup is in tow. Can Alvarez get a goal?

Which team will come out in front?

Team News

City’s side have Kevin De Bruyne out while Doku, Haaland and Gomez are doubtful.

Everton have Doucoure, Young, Alli and Coleman all doubtful or suspended.

Prediction

Manchester City 2-1 Everton
