Welcome to your quick recap.
Manchester City get back to winning ways aand with a great showing by academy lads in Micah, Oscar and Rico. As well as ol’ reliable Phil Foden. Really good win and we see the future right her for Manchester City.
A match that had a similar feel to most City matches, yet resulted in some great play for the team as the intensity was there early. It was a bit disjointed at points, but chances were created and it led to an all around solid match and great morale win.
One where City was in control with possession and chances created. They played a decent match and are in the thick of it all.
City had so many players who played well and this seems to be a case of a bad opponent that allowed for some rotation and rest while making our academy gain invaluable experience.
Two others of note who did play well and were lively were Ste Ortega and Matheus Nunes who showed up well.
The story of the night is that City get a win and win the group.
The UCL group stage is over and we move.
