Manchester City 2, Phil Foden (82’)
Everton, 0
Welcome to your quick recap.
Manchester City suffer but win a grinded and very nervy match. A really strong side with good performances from the lads led to a more difficult match as the midfield was fairly clogged.
A much different match filled with domination from City and some finishing chances. Man City played pretty below standards and found a way to win, in a tense affair with much hullaballoo.
One where City was in control with possession and chances created. They played just ok from the start and it was a heart pounding match all time.
The second half was equally as dominating by City as they just managed a score thanks to Phil Foden. Controversy would strike later amid a missed penalty calla nd possible offside before that. Much has been made about the VAR of it all. What’s true is City win and move.
City had a lot of other players who played just ok including Stones.
The story of the night was City’s fair and winning performance.
City are now back up six at the top.
A winning day of football.
