Preview

Man City come in hot to their first Champions League match of the new season with three successive victories against Norwich, Arsenal and Leicester respectively.

City are riding high seeing they own both the joint best attacking (11 goals) and defensive records (one conceded) in the league so far.

RB Leipzig have endured a slow start to the new Bundesliga season, and currently sit 12th with one win and three losses thus far.

The American Jesse Marsch’s side will be chomping at the bit to renew their season with a result at the Etihad Stadium.

It should be a great match. Pep vs Marsch.

Team News

City’s injury situation is improving as only Zach Steffen will miss and Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne are expected to be in the squad. Ben Mendy remains suspended.

For Leipzig, they will be without Marcel Halstenberg, Marcelo Saracchi and Sidney Raebiger.

Prediction

Manchester City 2-0 RB Leipzig
