Pep Guardiola was in some form today as he talked a lot hitting many topics from Cristiano rumors, internationals situation, injuries, and more.

Let’s dive right in-

Pep on injuries

“Yesterday, Phil had his first training session,”

“Kevin trained well last week, part alone, part with the other players who were here plus the Under-18s. They feel much better.

“Zack is in the US, isolating for the quarantine because he got a positive test,” said Pep.

“After 10-15 days and 2 negative PCRs he will be back. Scott Carson is in our squad because he is able to play. I am fully confident.

Pep on Ferran Torres

“Ferran has just started, Vardy has done amazing things and I am a big fan of him as a striker.

“I made the comment because Vardy likes to make the movement in behind.

“Normally strikers don’t, but Ferran also likes to make that movement in behind. That was the point.”

Pep on South American players availability

”Right now,, it still isn’t clear. We are going to wait until tomorrow, if they can play or not.”

“It’s difficult as Argentina players go to Brazil and can’t play. Brazilian players when they shouldn’t travel would have been the same. They travel there, don’t allow to play for quarantine. If they do it so they can’t play in Brazil and can’t play here...”

“Then after that, people go for what is the best for themselves. We will wait for Fifa and the Premier League and after tomorrow we decide.”

”If they don’t fly, they are suspended because they are here. It makes no sense.”

Pep on transfer window/Cristiano rumors

“The window is closed, the subject is over... until the winter time.”

“It’s not my business to talk to players of other clubs...”

Pep Guardiola on the September international break

“It is what it is, every season the same. We don’t have time to prepare, after three games, long weeks to prepare. Then they go and another in three weeks. It’s happened the last ten years. Adjust, and adapt...”

That will do it, we’ll see how Pep has the boys ready for tomorrow.
