The Manchester City Women have returned form the summer break and are in preparation for the start of the FA Women’s Super League. The Women’s side returned to the practice pitch after a very successful Olympics for many of the club’s players.
Twelve Women’s team players were selected to represent their countries in Tokyo this summer. Team GB selected an astounding 10 players from MCWFC. A strong showing, and a testament to the quality of the Women’s side. Abby Dahlkemper helped Team USA bring home the Bronze, while Janine Beckie and Team Canada were crowned Olympic Champions for the first time in their history.
