Manchester City Women have had four of their matches in the new WSL season changed for TV coverage. The BBC and Sky will be showing WSL fixtures throughout the season for the first time and the blues have seen them have four of their matches altered for coverage.

City’s opening game of the season at Everton is the first to be shown live on BBC on Saturday 4th September with a 1.30pm kick-off. The match will be played at Everton’s Goodison Park.

A week later, the blues welcome Spurs to the Academy Stadium which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football. That match will kick-off at 6.45pm. City’s third game of the season sees the girls travel to London and a clash with Arsenal. City won last season’s corresponding fixture and Sky Sport Football will again be there to cover the match live.

And the first Derby of the season will be broadcast live on BBC as City travel across town to take on United. Last season, the match ended 2-2 after the blues threw away a two-goal lead. Will City go one better this time around?

City will be seeking a second WSL title after missing out to Chelsea over the last two seasons and will be hoping their Olympic contingent can bring their great form to the WSL next season.
