In this article, I will predict the lineup that will start the final against Leicester.
Between the sticks, I think Ederson will start as the Copa America will end before the Gold Cup, in which Zack Steffen will play for the USA.
In defence , I think it will be Olexsandr Zinchenko - our first choice left back, followed by Aymeric Laporte and John Stones. Completing the defence in my opinion, will be Kyle Walker who will play in order to negate the pace of Leicester.
In midfield , I think it might be Jack Grealish, if he does indeed sign for the blues, with Fernandinho, who will be well rested as he wasn’t involved with internationals over the summer, alonngside Ilkay Gündogan. Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo will be on the bench as they will only just have returned to training following the Euros.
In attack , I think it will be a front line of Foden with a new striker hopefully in Kane and Riyad Mahrez.
My predicted XI: Ederson, Zinchenko, Laporte, Stones Walker, Grealish, Fernandinho, Gündogan, Foden, Kane, Mahrez.
What do you think the XI should be in the Community Shield Final? Comment Below.
