Juventus adamant about wanting Gabriel Jesus, Manchester City want big fee. The latest reports from Italy suggest Juve want a loan with ‘steep loan fee’, with an option to buy on a permanent deal next summer. (h/t Calcio Mercato)
The report makes it seems Juve, who are cash strapped, do not want to pay anything major this year and kick the tire down to next summer to take Jesus on. That will not sit right with Man City.
They want the money now as they work through the deals for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish. It’s an unlikely deal t be made.
City are prudent with sales and Jesus will only leave for a big fee. I do not foresee a loan deal occurring.
While much has been debated about Gabriel’s best position he is a big piece in the squad for Pep Guardiola and certainly has his place on the team.
It’s why this deal seems unlikely he knows he will have to fight for a spot in a crowded front three, but that is good for him and City as the best will play and there are no other agendas at City.
We’ll see if anything materializes.
Do you want Gabriel Jesus to stay at Manchester City?
