Manchester City Want Both Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, Willing to Spend Big

Manchester City want both Jack Grealish and Harry Kane. That according to the latest reporting from Sam Lee of the Athletic (sub required and recommended).

The news comes in light of the rumored players elsewhere City have been linked to have been shoddy and could be a misdirection or just agent chatter.

It seems quite clear Grealish and Kane are priority 1 and 1A.

Also, of note is that City want almost all of these two deals funded by sales by the club this season. That is possible. Already the club has raised roughly £50m off of Jadon Sancho’s sell on, Jack Harrison plus Angelino and a few more.

Estimated to cost £175m-£215m, these deals will be difficult to achieve for sure, but the want and onus City have for them is evident and should propel these moves to get done.

It’s going to be a fun summer. Only wish they’d started earlier.
