Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling has broken his silence regarding speculation on his future, following a number of transfer links.
Reports last month suggested City are looking to offload the former Liverpool man, with Arsenal touted for his services, and fresh speculation has put Barcelona in the running.
Sterling lost his status as a guaranteed starter at Man City in the second half of the 2020/21 season, leading to talk he could be off in the summer.
Asked how he blocks out speculation over his future, he replied:
“Do what they done before we had social media. Don’t check anything, don’t look at anything. That’s the most important thing” in an interview with Talksport .
He further said in the interview -
“I am feeling good. It is all about mentality. You can play a lot of games but if mentally you are not happy, if mentally you are down, the tournament could be physically demanding”, hinting that he looks forward to get back to his form during the EUROs.
Do you think Raheem Sterling will leave the Etihad this summer?
