Add him to the list, Manchester City Linked with Umar Sadiq. The Almeria striker has been linked to Manchester City by Diario AS in Spain and the fee is a bit high-
#ManCity have ‘set their sights’ on UD Almería striker, Umar Sadiq (24), with his club demanding €30M and his release clause being €60M. @ManCity's plan is to sign him, send him on loan to Troyes, before having him in the #PL squad for 2022/23.

Adding to the matter is it would be a buy and stash which for that price tag does not make much sense. To send him to Troyes actually would make sense given they will be in Ligue 1, but that still is too much money for a buy and stash. City have more pressing needs and have already signed three young player projects (Metinho, Kayky and Sarmiento).
One wrinkle for this deal is that various outlets have the player as Umar Sadiq while other have him as Sadiq Umar, which is interesting.
His numbers are not bad and he made the playoffs in Spain’s second division with Almeria albeit they fell short.
The fee needs to be much less considering the team and that’s the only way this gets done.
Thoughts on Sadiq?
