Manchester City to bid £100 million for Jack Grealish, that according to various reports.

The first I saw was ESPNFC-

The mercurial English star has been linked with Manchester City before and is known to be fond of the club. He is at the Euros and his comradery with Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden do pique interest so maybe this deal is possible.

He is undoubtedly a great player.

It would also be the most expensive English transfer ever and City, frankly, have never done that.

So, maybe this time is different because even with Grealish joining the City board want two to three more signings. That’s a lot of dough.

The question is is it worth it?

Some would call this much money hard to justify, but when you remember Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and even Arsenal have all spent 80+M on one player in recent years, maybe it is time City join that race.

Thoughts on Grealish and the price?
