A new report from ESPNFC has Manchester City as ‘leading contenders’ for the Spanish super star.

As was made effective today, Real Madrid and Ramos have agreed to part ways and Manchester could be his nest destination. Joining the race are London clubs, Chelsea and Tottenham as well as PSG.

Ramos is a true veteran and leader, but his fitness had been called in to question as he struggles with injury and missed out on EURO 2021 because of it.

Still, I would welcome his signing because he is a proven winner and we need that plus his tenacity and leadership.

With rumor's of Aymeric Laporte headed out, Ramos makes a perfect replacement. No fee to sign him, so City can focus on spending elsewhere and he gets to come to a mostly stable club competing for many titles.

This could work pretty well.

We’ll see how it progresses. Thoughts on Ramos to City?
