It’s June, the Euro’s are in full flow and more Manchester City players are rumoured to want to leave, the latest focusing around Bernardo Silva.

The Athletic have ran a story that the Portuguese midfielder wants to leave the blues, and was close to joining Barcelona last season before the move fell through, leaving the little maestro ‘crestfallen.’ However, manager Pep Guardiola is reluctant to let the midfielder leave, particularly to another Premier League club, although a swap deal involving Aston Villa midfielder remains a possible yet unlikely option.

Atletico Madrid are believed to be interested in signing Silva, however it is likely that any deal for the midfielder will involve a player making the opposite journey, with Joao Felix, a previous City target, an obvious replacement for the departing Sergio Aguero.

Raheem Sterling remains in the headlines and rumours continue to circulate that he is on his way out of City. Barcelona, who have been linked with a move for Silva and Ilkay Gundogan are rumoured to be interested in the England winger, who scored the winner for the national side in England’s 1-0 win over Croatia on Sunday.

But Sterling looks to have already decided he is staying at City as the winger is ready to announce a new community initiative in Manchester to mirror work he has done with kids in the deprived London borough of Brent, where he grew up, according to the Manchester Evening News.

Agent Mahrez?

Riyad Mahrez was seen partying on the holiday island of Mykonos, but who was he partying with? None other than rumoured City target Erling Haaland. The Algerian winger also tweeted ‘Agent Mahrez on Duty,’ complete with some laughing emojis.

Some supporters took it a bit too literally that he was trying to convince the Norwegian to join the blues, forcing him to follow up the tweet with another saying ‘just having fun, calm down.’ It won’t stop the rumours linking the striker with a big money move to City, who was seen deep in conversation with Phil Foden following City’s Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund.

Moonchester On The Move?

And finally, it seems like everybody is being linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, and there was huge concern that City mascot Moonchester would be looking to swap Manchester for the Catalan giants.

Moony made his City debut in August 1996, a homematch against Ipswich that City won 1-0, and five years later, Moonbeam made her way to Manchester after Moony made an appeal to Jodrell Bank to find him a partner.

Both were unavailable to comment on the rumours with the Barca link, however, considering they would have to change names and colours, a move looks highly unlikely.
