Manchester City could turn to a former prime target at striker this summer, should their planned pursuit of Harry Kane fail. The rumored plans could involve sending one current star in the opposite direction.

Bernardo Silva would head to the Spanish capital in exchange for an ‘unsettled state’ Felix is alleged to be in. From style of play to time on the pitch, Felix’s gripes seems legitimate and City could solve them by adding him.

Pep has been a long admirer and Felix would fit in at City stylistically.

Guardiola expects two or three significant signings to arrive this summer and it has been interesting to see how Sterling raised his game while playing in an attack with Kane and Phil Foden against Croatia at the weekend.

Sterling enjoys playing with someone of Kane’s style and while he would be first choice, Felix is a nice backup.

Thoughts on a Joao Felix arrival if Bernardo heads the other way?
