For all the talk of Harry Kane, Jack Grealish or Erling Haaland arriving at City this summer, there has been some surprising talk of further players leaving the blues. After the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona, Fernandinho, Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan have all been tipped to be also on their way out.

Another who is rumoured to be looking to leave the blues is Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese international has made himself a fans favourite since joining the blues in 2017, cementing the love the fans have for him when City gave Liverpool a guard of honour when the reds won the Premier League in 2020.

Silva was seen holding what looked like a cup of coffee, and left the guard before the Liverpool players had entered the pitch, which seemed to anger the supporters on the red side of Merseyside.

But Silva saw his Premier League playing time diminish last season, making 26 starts as opposed to 34, 36 and 35 the preceding three seasons. Manager Pep Guardiola utilised the midfielder in the Champions League, starting all City’s 13 matches including the final, but with the rumour that Guardiola is interested in signing Grealish form Villa, will Silva become a makeweight to enable City to sign the English international?

The blues could offer Silva as part of a deal that brings Grealish to Manchester, however, the great Manchester City hater and journalist Duncan Castles has predicted both Barcelona and recently crowned La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have made offers for the midfielder.

What do you think? Should City trade Silva for Grealish, or keep hold of the midfielder?
