The day nears! The Champions League Final is on Saturday and Manchester City will be at full health. It will be interesting to see who Pep Guardiola decides to call on to start.
Many players have a great claim at starting. You have the fullback dilemma of whether It’s Joao Cancelo or Oleks Zinchenko starting with Kyle Walker who seems locked in at his spot.
You have a midfielder selection issue as there are five players vying for three spots. I think Ilkay Gundogan is a lock and that means two spots for either Bernardo Silva, Rodri, Phil Foden and Fernandinho.
Of course that could be moot depending who plays in the attack. If Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden are lined up in the attack this team becomes more dynamic. Where does that leave Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling who could also start. Also, let’s not forget Ferran Torres has been playing lights out and could be a surprise start.
In the end, I believe Pep Guardiola goes with what’s tried and true and will line up like this-

How do you think Manchester City will line up?
