Sergio Ramos has again been linked to Manchester City. Back in January, Ramos was linked by Rodrigo Faez of ESPN and he again reiterated yesterday that City and Madrid are Ramos only likely destinations.
The thought is he wants to play for Pep Guardiola and these next couple of years would be ideal to spend in Manchester with the Catalan manger.
He would come on a free, but it seems unlikely City would pony up the money required to sign him. It would make Ramos the second or third highest player at City. It just would not fit the wage structure that has been meticulously made.
Ramos is a heck of a player and would be a great add, but not at those high wages. Even as a Fernandinho type replacement how much does he have to give?
It would seem to be more trouble than its worth and spotty injury history does not inspire confidence.
Thoughts on a possible Sergio Ramos addition?
