Manchester City have a new talisman. Ferran Torres has proved a real good player and is nearly fully adapted to the English game.
Torres has stepped up his game and speaking after the match v Newcastle had a lot to say.
Lets dive in-
“When we faced this game we knew we could make history as the team with most wins away,” he reflected.
“It was good motivation for us, the team pulled together in the good and the bad moments and that’s why we ended up like that.”
“It’s been a season of learning for me, the Premier League is a very different competition from what I was used to, it’s very physical.
“But I think I have adapted very well and I keep improving every day.”
“I flicked the ball, and I think it was a very beautiful goal!
“It’s been an incredible week, we qualify for the Champions League final, win the Premier League and then I score a hat-trick, I am very happy.”
“I try to improve day by day and learn from my teammates and the manager,” he declared.
“I always try to take advantage of any opportunity the manager gives me, the hat-trick I scored helped contribute to the team.
“I am trying to work hard every day to get the opportunity for the (Champions League) final.”
Torres is an incredible player and can only get better.
