Manchester City have ramped up interest in Nuno Mendes. A Bola also had that City will meet with Sporting Lisbon as soon as the season finishes to finalize a move for 18-year-old full back.
Manchester City have already made initial contact with Nuno Mendes' agent, Miguel Pinho, who also represents Bruno Fernandes.

Other terms bandied about have been a 40-50 million pound fee + Pedro Porro who is on loan at Sporting. Mendes is an exceptional player and having been a key piece in Sporting winning the Portuguese league title will no doubt increase asking price.
Either way, the Portuguese market has proved a boon for City as Ederson and Ruben Dias have been unmitigated successes. So while young, Mendes has the potential to be a lock down starter for a decade.
If City can get that fee down a bit to around 40 and Porro is included then this could get done fairly quickly. It’s been reported before that City would like to get everything besides a striker done before the Euros kickoff in mid June.
Thoughts on a Mendes deal?
