Welcome to your quick recap.

Manchester City are happy after earning a great win vs a very game Villa side.

A gritty performance as City did just enough to win. Man City came out flat and didn’t really have a clear shot on goal. Giving up an early was worse outcome and they had to battle the rest of the match.

One where City dominated possession and chances created. The initial half was fun and despite a man down for a stretch, City played with resiliency. Rodri and Foden scored giving City respite that carried to end of match.

The story of the night was City’s many changes made and possession dominance. City did do enough for a victory and continue trek to claim another PL title.

A good showing from Phil Foden and Rodri made it a satisfactory matchday.
