Manchester City Women will start their defence of the FA Cup when they host Aston Villa in the fourth round.
The blues beat Everton 3-1 in November’s final and they are now looking to secure their fourth FA Cup win in five years, and face an Aston Villa side who will not be relishing another trip to Manchester to face the blues.
The two teams met in in January with City running out 7-0 winners, after being 6-0 up at half-time, while two goalkeeping errors in September gifted Georgia Stanway an opening day brace at Villa Park.
This year’s competition was delayed due to government guidance, however the first round will now take place on 31st March, with the second and third round ties being played by 11th April. City’s match with Villa will be played on Sunday 18th April, and if the blues make their way past their Midlands opponents, the remaining three rounds will be played at the start of the 2021/22 season.
