Manchester City: International Roundup, part 5

Manchester City’s Portuguese trio continues to shine in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva helped Portugal fight back from a goal down to maintain their unbeaten start to World Cup qualifying with a victory over 10-man Luxembourg.

The Manchester City trio started in the 3-1 win, where Cancelo provided the assist as Cristiano Ronaldo scored to put the visitors 2-1 up. A good day for them.

Kevin De Bruyne was given a well deserved break as his Belgium destroyed Belarus 8-0.

Elsewhere, Riyad Mahrez has performed admirably as Algeria’s captain and has a goal to his name in the matches so far.

Finally, today is the last match day of the break and as many as nine City players could be in action on this evening when England, Germany, Spain and Ukraine continue their World Cup qualifying campaigns.
