The international break continues at a ferocious pace as we had almost ten players in action Sunday. Mostly positive results and no one got injured. Successful day.
For England, Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker, Phil Foden and John Stones were all in the starting line-up as England recorded a comfortable 2-0 World Cup qualifying win away to Albania.
Foden has really impressed with the national team and Stones being back is a great reward for his phenomenal run all season.

In Spain, Ferran Torres earned a crucial goal as Spain secured a dramatic and much needed 2-1 win away to Georgia. Eric Garcia also played all 90 minutes and held the backline well enough for a win. Rodri was an unused sub.
Torres has gained Luis Enrique’s trust and has become a near locked in starter. It will do wonders once he plays more for City as he has nearly settled in completely.

A couple more here, Ukraine’s Oleks Zincenko went all 90 as Finland forced an 89th min goal to earn a 1-1 draw in Kiev.
In Germany, Ilkay Gundogan played the full 90 minutes as Germany secured a hard fought 1-0 win away to Romania. A gritty win and Germany continue a perfect path.
All in all, good results and no injuries.
