Manchester City left it late as ever, as a Chloe Kelly strike in the 87th-minute launched City top of FAWSL. It was a crucial three points in the FA Women’s Super League title race.
The forward’s dramatic winner was just enough the difference in a hard-fought encounter at the Academy Stadium.
At the heart of City’s attack, Kelly, the winger was unfortunate not to add another assist to her already great run of form.
The forward proved a handful for Reading as she had plenty of opportunities for herself and her teammates. More importantly she was in the right spot at the right time to bag the all-important winner.
City are top with just four matches remaining.
