Another successful day for our Manchester City international stars.
Raheem Sterling captained England to a 5-0 win over San Marino.
With his 59th cap, Sterling not only scored his 14th goal for the national team, cutting in from the left to hit a slightly deflected shot past the keeper on 31 minutes.
John Stones and Phil Foden also put in good shifts in what was a nice win in qualifying over the tiny island nation of San Marino.

In Germany, Ilkay Gundogan continued an amazing run of form as he scored 18th goal for club and country in what has been a phenomenal campaign for the City midfielder.
Germany who beat Iceland 3-0, has benefitted from a pretty in form team all around.

Elsewhere, our Spanish trio struggled mightily with Greece, eventually drawing 1-1 at home.
Rodrigo, Eric Garcia and Ferran Torrres all started for La Roja as they could not overcome the Greek contingency. A disappointing result.

Lastly, Zack Steffen was in net for the USMNT and played well in a 4-1 victory over a game Jamaica side.
All in all, no injuries and the players got some run and did as well as they could.
