Patson Daka An ‘Intriguing Possibility’ for Manchester City

Patson Daka is the latest striker linked to Manchester City. He joins a list featuring big names like Erling Haaland and smaller one’s like Danny Ings.

What is for certain is City will more than likely add a striker this window.

Daka for his part, is an incredibly polished striker and just 22 he has room to grow under Pep. He is probably not as good as Haaland, but he would be a suitably good alternative. Many outlets have designated him option 2 for City and an ‘intriguing possibility’ if Haaland falls through.

His scoring record is most impressive and being in the Austrian Bundesliga, has to be taken with a grain of salt. However, he has all the tools of a great striker.

The price might be more team friendly as well. Reports in December pegged it at 25-30m Euros. Even a slight increase there and it would be a great deal for City.

It will all depend on negotiations and we will await who arrives at the Etihad with open arms.
