The story of the night was City’s strong side, Gareth Taylor put out despite missing Sam Mewis.

A great showing from Caroline Weir and Lauren Hemp helped earn a well deserved win. Ellie Roebuck also contributed with a huge save late in the second half.

City stand now second in the FAWSL, and the title chase is full ON!

In the end, a great team effort and real energy from the group, made it a wonderful match day. Taylor and the squad now look forward to Birmingham City on the 28th.
