Ilkay Gundogan has been named Premier League Player of the Month for January.
The midfielder delivered a phenomenal run of form in league performances, scoring five times, including a goal at Chelsea and a class double against West Brom.
He was a key figure to City’s perfect month, which saw City win all six of the Premier League game.
The German has had an up and down stay at City with many fans turning on him over the past year. Never the less, Ilkay has really showed his mettle and has become a key figure both as a leader and player. From awareness to vison and much more his form has been on such an incredible swing.
