Manchester City are in blistering form and face an out of form Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening. City lost the away fixture of the tie 2-0, however, look unstoppable.

City fans will be missing their Argentine and seeing him back on the pitch would be a dream this season. Aguero is back in training though is unlikely to play against Tottenham due to the length of time out, he may feature in the near future.

Kevin De Bruyne:

De Bruyne has missed five games out to injury sustained against Aston Villa, but Pep Guardiola offered a positive update. Guardiola said De Bruyne is doing “really well” and is training, however not squad training.

Nathan Ake:

City fans have not seen much of Ake after he had sustained a hamstring injury on Boxing Day against Newcastle, however, little information has been given apart from he is still in recovery.

Fernandinho:

Fernandinho did not travel with the squad to Swansea for our FA Cup tie. The good news, however, is that Guardiola says it is just a “niggle” and therefore may not be fit for Saturday but should be for our clash with Everton.

Ruben Dias:

Like Fernandinho, Dias did not travel with the squad on Wednesday and has a stomach problem along with a fever. Therefore, it is difficult to know how severe it is; however, it would be assumed he would overcome this at least in time for the Everton fixture, fingers crossed before.

Rodri:

Our solid defensive midfielder limped off against Swansea after a challenge to his ankle, Guardiola confirmed it is not too serious, but a return date is unknown.

A lot of questions. Hopefully we have some concrete results soon.
