A new report from 90 min football has claimed Manchester City will make it a priority to sign a number 9.

To be exact the report says

“Securing a new ‘number nine’ is the club’s firm priority for 2021 and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland remains their main target.”

Haaland has been a common rumor as his father played for City and given past pictures both on social media and elsewhere the player himself seems fond of the club.

Rumors could certainly begin to escalate if Dortmund fail to make the Champions League next year as they would be out under current standings.

A financial factor could be held by Dortmund and they would have to liquidate some players to make up for lost revenue of missing out on the Champions League.

The move would no doubt be pricey, but would Dortmund if they are out of European competition, be willing to accept a sum of less than 100 million euros? That would be the question.

City would love to sign him, but at current asking price it would take over the 100 mil previously reported.

I would love to see this deal come through. He is an ideal Pep player. Young, hard working and with an eye for goal. A perfect match.
