Manchester City defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis has joined Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The 19 year old defender made his City debut in September 2019 against Preston in the League Cup, with his second coming in a 4-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League. He went on to make two further appearances in the first team and scored his first City goal in a 4-1 win over Port Vale in the FA Cup last January.
The Stockport-born star has made to appearances this season in the EFL Cup and was part of the team that claimed the FA Youth Cup in November. And in December 2020, Harwood-Bellis signed a four year contract with City, keeping him with the blues until 2024.
The experience at Blackburn will be vital for the youngster’s development and we all wish him well for the remainder of the season.
