Crystal Palace 1, John Stones (17’ OG)

Welcome to your quick recap.

Manchester City are winners on the night as City win a comfortable match in the end. Good performances from Phil Foden, Ilkay Gundogan and others made it a nice night.

A slower than usual match filled with better chance creation and four goals. Man City was well on the ball and had a great start before some sloppiness.

One where City was in control with possession and chances created.

The second half was better on City as they played like the better team.

City had a lot of other players who played well including Raheem Sterling and Gabe Jesus who played since entering the match, both scoring.

The story of the night was City’s win at home and we move on to the Manchester derby this weekend.

City move and now sit pretty in their group.

A successful day of football.
