Manchester City’s women team ahs undergone several bad results and the players are speaking about how this is a crucial, time for the club as they look to rebound. Ellen White spoke and hit on that, the upcoming match and kore.

“We know what’s at stake. This is a massive game for us – there’s no two ways about it,” she said.

“Every game we want to win and we’ve had some disappointing results. We know the magnitude of the game for us and we all know what it means to play in a Manchester Derby.

“It’s always exciting. It’s amazing that this fixture is part of the league now and it’s one we always look forward to.

“We want to get back to winning ways in the league and we’ll be doing everything we can to perform.

“Collectively, we’re pulling together and staying positive. We know what we want to achieve this season and hopefully, we can start again on Saturday.

“We can’t wait.”

“With fans, you have excitement and noise and it’s really special. It’s something we really love and Saturday will be an amazing occasion for the fans and the city.

“It’s going to be a really great game and hopefully, the fans can help us and push us on.

“We want to put in a performance they’ll be proud of because we really appreciate them coming out and supporting us.”

Something will have to give as City need results and fast as the WSL could be slipping away.
