Liverpool 2, Sadio Mané (59’), Mo Salah (76’)

Welcome to your quick recap.

Manchester City suffer but manage a draw away at Anfield. Being the better team over the 90+ minutes, City could not make it count and settled for a draw.

A highly combustible match filled with chance creation and ref decision that left us scratching our heads. Man City was well on the ball and despite early missed passes had many chances, but it was not enough as Pool put scored as much as City.

One where City was in control with possession and chances created.

The second half was rougher on City as they gave up a goal early and the players up top had less than super matches.

City had a lot of other players who played well including Foden who played really well all match.

The story of the night was City’s missed opportunities and bad reffing.

City now move to the international break and will hope for a clean and injury free one.

A decent day of football.
