Manchester City 0

West Ham 0 — Win on Penalties

Welcome to your quick recap.

Manchester City do not do enough as they have been eliminated from the Carabao Cup at West Ham. Being the better team over the 90+ minutes, City failed to make to count and is out.

A slower than usual match filled with some chance creation and no goals. Man City was well on the ball and despite early missed passes had many chances, though the match increased in quality when Foden entered.

One where City was in control with possession and chances created.

The second half was better on City as they played like it.

City had a lot of other players who played well including Zach Steffen who played well all match.

The story of the night was City’s elimination in the cup after four successive victories and trophy lifts. Foden would end up missing the final kick.

City now move to the three remaining competitions.

A disappointing day of football.
