Manchester City’s Spanish star, Ferran Torres, will be out for up to 6 weeks with a foot injury. The Spanish international was substituted in the second half after scoring a brace against Italy in the Nations League semi-final.

The forward started his country’s match against France but had to withdraw and has been diagnosed as having fractured his right foot.

Among the matches he could miss are City’s champions League matches against Club Bruges and PSG, as well the Manchester derby at Old Trafford and City’s visit to West Ham in the League Cup.

It’s a blow to City, who may also be without Gabriel Jesus following international duty with Brazil. Torres has scored three goals for City so far this season and provided one assist.

Torres has returned to Manchester and will now be monitored.
