Manchester City Women’s match at home to West Ham has been called off due to Covid-19, the club have announced today.
In a statement by the club, City said “The Football Association have decided to postpone the match following four positive COVID-19 cases and a number of other mitigating factors affecting the City squad.”
The blues will no doubt have been looking forward to getting back to league action. The last time they played was on 13th December, when an injury time goal by Caroline Weir gave the blues a 2-1 victory.
No date has been rearranged for the fixture as yet.
