The Clarets progressed in the Carabao Cup after beating Millwall 2-0 before losing 1-0 at home to Southampton at the weekend.
Team News
Man City’s long injury list means Sergio Aguero (knee), Joao Cancelo (foot), Bernardo Silva (muscular) and Gabriel Jesus (muscular) will all miss the trip to Turf Moor.
Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones are doubtful at this stage.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is available for selection, as is Aymeric Laporte.
Burnley also have several injuries to key players.
Ben Mee, James Tarkowski, Robbie Brady and Johann Gudmundsson are all ruled out with Jay Rodriguez and Ashley Barnes doubtful.
Prediction
An expected young side and no true #9 will complicate things massively. A narrow win or even a penalty shootout is not out of the question. City win in PK’s.
