Manchester City are showing ‘real interest’ in Ajax’s Nicolas Tagliafico but any prospects of strengthening in the left-back position are likely to hinge on the club offloading Oleksandr Zinchenko (h/t The Telegraph).
The Argentine fullback would be brought in for roughly 25-30m euros. Among other reports that Zinchenko and Eric Garcia could be off loaded soon for a combined 50m euros, this deal seems well in the position of attainability.
Nico Tagliafico is a reliable fullback and would be abetter option than either Zinchenko or Nathan Ake. I’d take this deal in a heartbeat.
Thoughts on the arrival of another fullback?
