Fidalgo Leaves Manchester City Women

Manchester City Women defender Matilde Fidalgo has left the blues to join S.L Benfica.

The Portuguese international joined the blues from SC Braga in May 2019, but only made five appearances for City in al competitions, and found herself down the pecking order as the form of Janine Beckie made the Canadian first choice for the right-back position.

The cousin of Bernardo Silva, Fidalgo makes the move back to her homeland and we wish her the best of luck with her new club
