This seems fairly positive as Man City have all long claimed a deal could only be done if Messi and his entourage figure out the contract situation with Barca ASAP.
The report also see Josep Bartomeau refuse to meet or even answer Jorge Messi and Messi’s lawyers calls to find an amicable solution. Of course, Josep is under severe pressure from the board and fans to not allow Messi to leave. That comes on the heels of last week’s claims that even if Bartomeu resigns, it would not be enough to persuade Messi to stay.
The decision seems final and the work now falls on lawyers and Brca’s leadership to finalize his exit.
