Kevin De Bruyne has been named as the 2019/20 Premier League Player of the Season.

The coveted award adds to the list of accolades in what has been a standout campaign for our Belgian midfielder.

De Bruyne, who has been had a terrific run of form throughout the past 12 months, was also voted as the Club’s Player of the Season.

A well deserved recognition as one of the most influential attacking players in the country.

Kevin also provided 20 assists over the course of the league season to win his second Premier League Playmaker award and in doing so equalled Thierry Henry’s 17-year record for the highest number of assists in a single campaign.

He also scored a career-best 13 Premier League goals and won the Goal of the Month award twice, for his stunning half-volley against Newcastle United back in November and his curling effort from distance against Norwich City on the final day of the season.

A well and truly deserved award. Congratulations, Kevin!
