Kevin De Bruyne: “New season, same story.”

The Belgian had some strong words for City.

Kevin De Bruyne is mad. After the game he had a lot to say and we will recap it.

Let’s get to it-

“New season, same story.”

“We have to learn, it is difficult, we create chances in the second half to win. But now it’s time to go home, it’s been a long season, my wife is waiting for me, I have other things to focus on now.”

“The game was open, but (Lyon) didn’t really create too many chances,”

“We need to learn - it’s not good enough. That’s it.

“The first half was not good enough and we know that, we started slow and did not have options.”

“Their keeper made a few saves and even at 2-1, we had a chance with Raz (Raheem Sterling). That’s football, fine margins make the difference.”

“I need to get home because my wife is expecting any moment. I have something to focus on personally. But yes, it’s hard (to take).”

Interesting words. I feel for and with Kevin. The game was insanely frustrating for fans and can only imagine how it is for the players.
