Manchester City are reportedly close to signing Brazilian under-17 international Diego Rosa from Gerimo.
According to TalkSport, all the remains are the ‘bureaucratic details’ before the youngster completes the transfer for an initial fee of £4.5m, rising to £20m should Rosa meet all the contract clauses.
Rosa is yet to make an appearance for the first team, but the below video could explain why City boss Pep Guardiola has moved quickly to secure his signature.
The midfielder doesn’t turn 18 until October so won’t be able to link up with City until then and it is likely he will be loaned to Belgian side Lommel SK, and joins Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres as City’s third new recruit of the summer.
What do you think blues? One for the future?
