Manchester City have made the signing of a World Champion official today, announcing the arrival of Sam Mewis.

The midfielder joins from the NWSL league in the USA. Mewis is a skilful, creative and athletic midfielder, who is also good in the air.
Mewis earned 67 caps and 18 goals for her country, including two strikes in France last summer at the World Cup.
Mewis said-
“The Club is one of the best in the world and I’ve heard such good things about the women’s side as a whole and the incredible facilities. I’ve followed the men’s team too for a long time.
