Report- Eric Garcia Wanted by Barcelona

The Spanish phenom has been linked with a return to Barcelona. He left la masia and joined City and has reaped rewards as Pep Guardiola has prized him with many starts and confidence in him.

Guardiola says his club will do all they can to keep Garcia but admits the final decision will be the youngster’s.

“We have one more year - if they want him they must call Txiki,” he said.

“We’ll try to convince him to stay here for many years. I’m confident he will stay, but it’s his decision.”

Guillem Balague has been talking about Garcia and feels the player genuinely does want to return to Barcelona and Man City are talking about a sale so they don’t lose him for free next year.

I frankly don’t buy it. Garcia is barely coming in to his own and under Pep’s tutelage can be a true great. Why leave now? Especially to the clustered mess Barcelona are.
