Manchester City Crush Liverpool, 4-0: Reaction & Tweets

Kevin De Bruyne eased City on the way with a penalty, before Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden added two more to give the blues a three-goal advantage at the break.

Sterling saw his strike turned in by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after the restart and both sides could have added more in the time that remained.

City proved to be the better side today.

“Eric’s a fantastic talent,” said Sterling.

“I really like him. He’s composed on the ball. He’s not the tallest of players, but he gives everything and fights.

“He read the games really well. I’m really happy for him and really proud to see him doing really well.”
