With UCL ban overturned, priority should be extending Pep Guardiola

Manchester City believe the lifting of their European ban will be a ‘game-changer’ as they finalise an offer to extend Pep Guardiola’s contract (Sky Sports).

Manchester City feel Guardiola is the ‘key component’ in their efforts to regain their Premier League and land the Champions League.

It needs to be priority number one at the Etihad. Getting Pep for at least one maybe two years past this season would be so great for City.

My solution would be signing on for two more year so after the World Cup in 2022 in Qatar he can be free to sign with any national team he wants as he long has desired. This way City get three more years of Pep and he gets his wish to be a national team coach for a full cycle.

Thoughts on the priority level for Pep’s extension?
